Q: Working with the PGA TOUR is a very unique opportunity, what influenced you to pursue an internship with this particular organization? Were you a golfer growing up?

BD: I have been around the game of golf my entire life, competing at the national level as a junior and on the Laurentian Golf team throughout university. When I was applying for internships I was looking for a golf specific position that would allow me to apply my extensive knowledge and background of the sport.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit more about what your internship duties were?

BD: I was the Operations Intern for the WGC Bridgestone Invitational and reported to the Operations Manager. Together we managed the entire build out of the golf tournament, coordinating a variety of operational aspects including all deliveries for the PGA TOUR and Bridgestone. After the tournament I was responsible for managing the entire take down of the event, which included coordinating schedules with several vendors to ensure a timely exit while working to accommodate the host club.
